Welcome to the Friends of Alban Wood. As a Parent or Carer of a child at Alban Wood school you are automatically a member of the PTA. 

The PTA is here to help raise vital funds for the school to help pay for materials, resources and equipment to help enrich the time your child spends at our school.

What we do?

We arrange events such as cake sales, discos, summer and Christmas Fetes, movie nights and a few tuck shops and raffles throughout the year. We also fund towards things like birthday books and educational visits.

These events are to raise money, but they also bring our community together, build parent and teacher relationships, to have fun and meet other parents and children.

We also fund towards things like birthday books, educational visits and are currently saving toward some big improvements for the school.

The PTA is made up of parents and teachers whom meet regularly to discuss and organise Events and is supported by parent volunteers who give their time to help out at some events.  

How can you help?

As a PTA, we always need your help, we constantly need new faces and volunteers to ensure the PTA can continue to run. 

We are aware of how busy we all are with work, family and general day to day life, It is totally flexible, even giving help for an hour of your time on a stall at an event or by attending the PTA meetings to offer new ideas that would be great. Design a poster or help clear up after an event, every little help’s. Without the support from parents these events would not be possible.
