Lowry Look-a-like!

As part of our Rich and Poor Theme this term, we are looking at the word of Lowry, a famous artist who focused what London looked like as a result of The Industrial Revolution. He developed a unique style and is well-known for his ‘matchstick’ people. Year 6 worked hard to create a collaborative version of one of his famous pieces. Each child had a square of the painting to recreate whilst working alongside their peers to ensure the pieces would fit together. This afternoon we applied the finishing touches and put all of the bits back together. I think you’d agree, they’ve done a brilliant job!
