Year 4 had a great time on their walk to Albans Wood today, despite being caught in the hail! We were keen geographers, comparing the human and physical features of different locations from woodland to grassland before finally comparing them to the school field. I was especially impressed by their observations and questioning skills. We also collected plant samples for our science work on identifying and classifying plants before we transform them into an art piece next week!
