May 18th – 24th is Mental Health Awareness week and this years theme is kindness.
One thing that we have seen all over the world is that kindness is prevailing in uncertain times.
We have learnt that amid the fear, there is also community, support and hope.
The added benefit of helping others is that it is good for our own mental health and wellbeing. It can help reduce stress and improve your emotional wellbeing.

The children came up with some wonderful ideas of how they could be kind during the week such as, sending someone a postcard, helping your family, dropping off a gift or book to someones doorstep, saying good morning and smiling at someone and helping with shopping – especially toilet roll.
