On Tuesday 14th January, we took 9 children to Francis Combe for the netball league tournament. We had four matches to play in total which made for a tiring evening for the players! It took us a while to get going but in our third and final match we played fantastically and came away with a win and a draw. I am so proud of all of the children who took part. They displayed resilience, great sportsmanship and teamwork, setting a brilliant example for the school. The children should be very proud of themselves, especially considering they were only introduced to this sport properly in September! Well done to you all.
- We are so pleased with how this new age of virtual learning is going. It has been a learning curve for all of us and you as parents have definitely risen to the challenge! We are extremely proud of how the children have been engaging with Google classroom and how their learning has continued. The first scheduled live session will be today – Friday (check previuos email for your child’s time). These will be a great way for your child to virtually interact with their classmates and teacher. We look forward to ‘seeing’ them. The small number of keyworker and vulnerable children in school will also join these so will be able to interact with their friends who are learning at home.
